I ate Japanese Pizza again. It was made by a Taiwanese this time and though I had sworn off eating one made by a Chinese, I decided to take the risk. It wasn't too bad and rather worth the extremely long wait. This lady's pizza was bigger and the cabbage within was more and crunchier. It was also cheaper at $2.50 and there were more fillings to choose from. The only flaw was its excessive starchiness. I took my favourite salmon filling. I also bought a sausage which was bigger than the normal ones but was rather expensive at $1.20.
The food was mind-boggling as well. There were Malay, Indian and Chinese vendors promoting their cultural delicacies. The Malays sold Mee Goreng, Otah, Sausages and their famous Ramly Burgers, which are delicious but fattening due to the huge portions and excessive amounts of oil used while cooking them. I've never bought them ever since hearing about them from a friend and I doubt I will.
The Indians sold Goreng Pisang and Vadai while the Chinese sold Vegetable Pizza, Takopachi Balls, various fried finger foods, Mua Chee, beverages and their famous Smelly Tofu, which is deep-fried fermented beancurd. This is supposedly a delicacy but I'm not a fan of it as it smells like excrement to me, in all honesty. I can't even get past the smell to taste the delicious beancurd underneath, as people testify. I had to wrinkle my nose inconspicuously as I passed the Smelly Beancurd stalls, so as not to offend the vendors. What's more, there were altogether 3 stalls selling it!
